countries. The company’s vision gives
insight of what to be achieved in the near future. A strong management team
highly trained and modern facilities and equipment are deployed to accomplish
the company’s objectives.
The Company’s vision is to become among
the best transporters in the country, especially by handling and delivery of cargo/goods
elsewhere in and outside the country - the Company that delivers goods to
customer’s destination in time and safely.
BARWAAQO’s mission
is to deliver quality services by using modern technology and facilities to
ferry goods from harbors to customer’s destination while observing professional
ethics and employing result-oriented staff and in within time.
The objectives for which the Company was establish include,
inter alia, to deal or otherwise
carry on the business of transportation as carriers of goods and passengers
throughout the world by land, water and air as owners, operators, hirers,
charter or agents of motor-vehicles, aircrafts, ships, boats, floating
structures, railway and tramway locomotives, and associated transport
equipment.
As we are having relatively new trucks and trailers and
due to enforcement of preventive maintenance program we are not experiencing
any down time with our fleet. This is one of our major strength as the
dedicated trucks will be always available for client’s operations. In case of
any unusual delay we can provide a replacement vehicle within 12 hours of notice.

The Company has several motor trucks and vehicles for transportation of the products to all end-users countrywide and across the borders.
Furthermore we have sub-contracts whom in total have 30
trucks who depend on us for loadings. Our trucks cross borders to deliver cargo
to Kampala in Uganda, Kigali in Rwanda, Bujumbura in Burundi, Goma, Lubumbashi
and Bukavu in the Democratic Republic of Congo and Lilongwe in Malawi.

The Company has employed 155 well-trained drivers for
operating the whole fleet. All the drivers are recruited through a stringent
recruitment procedure and proper training is provided before providing them
independent charge of the trucks. All the current drivers are trained under APTH training program by a
certified trainer. All the drivers are bound by signed contracts which bind
them to deliver the goods without loss and without contamination.
